WHY OUR STARS ARE DIFFERENT
Artschatz Star Lights stand out from all the rest because our stars are the only ones that hang symmetrically with the tip pointing up, (they hang like a traditional “Protective” or “Luck” bringing star).
Our pre-installed cable comes out of the point of the star ensuring that the star is hung properly and quickly ready for use. All other stars you see on the market have the cable coming out of the closing seam, causing the star to hang tip pointing down.
We use the latest technology of thin cables with USB and AC adapters, our bulbs are energy efficient LEDs that use low wattage and don’t get hot.

Each Star is handmade in India and assembled here in New York, USA. Each star has been checked for quality and comes pre-wired with a clear 12-ft cable with on/off switch, an energy saving LED bulb and a 5V AC adapter.

I received this star as a house warming present and just installed it in my new home. I love how elegant it is and how easy it was to unpack, hang and light up my living room.
I ordered the Artschatz Cathedral Paper Lantern Star Light in 24 inch black/turquoise with blue/orange tissue inlay. A page of directions is included but, the video on the product page is very helpful. I suggest watching it before starting. I carefully opened the triangles and followed each step as per the how-to video.
My phone refused to really capture the true shade of blue and the true shade of orange in any one picture. I took multiple pictures and overlaid arrows pointing to the most accurate colors in the pictures. The star was on my bed rather than hooked to the ceiling because the illustrations are intricate. One picture is black and white to help you see the details.
I like that there is an AC adapter and that there is an on/off switch on the cord. The loops of the hook are a good size which should make it easier to hang the star from a hook screwed into the ceiling. I appreciate that you can easily fold and put away the star if and when you choose to do so. This means that a college student gift recipient will be able to hang it in their dorm room or off campus apartment and then safely fold it to bring it home at the end of the school year.
