Best smell, I order this again and again
The warm subtle balsamic scent of Styrax comforts me, fills my space with such a good energy. It’s not strong, when lighting it you first get a strong note of styrax and then while burning it emits a slow and nice scent that lingers in the air, but doesn’t linger forever, which is good. I use it mostly during meditation, or when I down, drained or tired. It reminds of my visit in Auroville of the Matrimandir and the Ashram in Pondicherry.
Burn time is at least 30 minutes. Has that very pleasant, slightly sharp benzoin fragrance without being sweet or overpowering. Nice lingering presence after done burning.

I purchased the gum benzoin variety. I am glad finally got a product that smells like the exotic jhuna smell used back home(India). No essential oil dipped floral fragrance. Just the fragrance of the resin. The stick is longer and thicker than regular sticks. Burns fully. Lighting takes 2 secs extra since it is thicker. The only reason I deducted a star is the smell of jhuna(benzoin) is not strongest as found in sticks purchased in India. However the smell lingers even after it done burning. If used in smaller space it might enhance the fragrance around. Since my puja mandir is in a huge, high ceiling area, the fragrance tends to diffuse. Definitely not value for money. Could have benefitted if they sold 10 packets instead of 5 for that price.
